About the position

The Director, Marketing Analytics at Thomson Reuters is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive business intelligence strategy that enhances data-driven decision-making across the marketing organization. This role involves overseeing the analytics infrastructure, managing a team of analytics professionals, and ensuring the effective use of data products to optimize marketing strategies and improve customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive BI vision and strategy aligned with marketing goals.
  • Build relationships with marketing leaders and business partners to understand stakeholder needs.
  • Manage a team of analytics professionals, providing guidance and development.
  • Consult on the collection, storage, and integration of data across various sources.
  • Guide the development and maintenance of ETL workflows and visualization dashboards.
  • Drive adoption of the marketing analytics suite by mentoring stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve business intelligence processes through feedback loops with stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in business intelligence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics, focusing on marketing.
  • Proven experience with Snowflake, Alteryx, Tableau, and PowerBI.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, organization, and communication skills.
  • Positive, proactive self-starter with program management skills.
  • Empathetic relationship builder with cross-functional collaboration skills.
