About the position

The Director, Marketing & Communications at Prudential will lead the development and execution of marketing and communication strategies for Prudential Advisors. This role is pivotal in driving growth and aligning internal and external communications with business objectives, while engaging stakeholders and enhancing the brand's value proposition. The position requires a blend of marketing leadership and communication expertise to connect employees and advisors to the business strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute non-product marketing support to enable growth of the Prudential Advisors business.
  • Manage programs and maintain assets that support advisor brand and firm value proposition in local markets.
  • Leverage enterprise marketing capabilities to meet digital and advisor recruitment marketing needs.
  • Create prospect marketing content for lead management and execution across Prudential Advisors.
  • Ensure compliance with Prudential brand standards for materials distributed through the LPL platform.
  • Lead the internal and external communications strategy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to effectively communicate the business story and voice of leaders.
  • Create and distribute meaningful content to stakeholder groups.
  • Develop executive speeches, video scripts, and presentations.
  • Nurture strategic relationships with media and industry publications to amplify the brand's value proposition.
  • Support execution of events and internal engagement forums.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Communications and Marketing experience, preferably in financial services.
  • Experience in a corporate/sales distribution environment in a highly regulated industry.
  • Ability to build and deliver integrated marketing and communications campaigns.
  • Hands-on executive communications experience and performance marketing knowledge.
  • Strong business acumen with expense management discipline.
  • Exemplary collaboration skills and influential executive presence.
  • Experience leading a team.
