About the position

The Director of Marketing for Immunology Market Access at AbbVie plays a pivotal role in shaping the market access strategy for the Emerging Immunology Market Place (EIMP). This position requires a deep understanding of both the internal and external environments affecting market access, enabling the director to provide key insights that inform the evolution of access strategies. The director will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to align recommendations that maximize performance and meet strategic objectives. In this role, the director will develop customized messaging and resources tailored for various stakeholders within the EIMP, collaborating with Immunology Market Access Marketing colleagues and field account executives. The director will also be responsible for tracking and reporting market changes, working with team members and partners to evaluate and communicate access changes effectively. A significant aspect of this position involves leading the Immunology Medicare contracting strategy. The director will partner with National Account Directors and internal teams to refine the Medicare strategy and ensure successful contract execution. This includes providing marketing and analytical support throughout the deal process and delivering essential resources and messaging to key customer stakeholders. Additionally, the director will lead or collaborate on special projects that support Immunology business objectives, fostering a positive leadership culture and aligning with AbbVie’s values. The role requires setting the tone and priorities for accountability, influencing and persuading various stakeholders, and effectively utilizing coaching to guide team members and cross-functional partners. The director will also be responsible for determining the appropriate actions for project execution, tracking, and monitoring, employing strategies such as segmentation, positioning, and investment optimization to build a compelling value proposition for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Emerging Immunology Market Place (EIMP) Market Access strategy.
  • Develop customized stakeholder messaging and resources for the EIMP.
  • Track and report market changes in the EIMP.
  • Lead Immunology Medicare contracting strategy and execution.
  • Partner with National Account Directors to evolve Medicare strategy.
  • Provide marketing and analytical support during the deal process.
  • Develop customized messaging for the Medicare channel.
  • Lead or partner on special projects in support of Immunology business objectives.
  • Provide positive leadership and influence cultural alignment within US Market Access.
  • Set tone and priorities for accountability and influence across stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Marketing, Market Access, and immunology experience preferred.
  • Cross-functional experiences including field sales, finance, and market analytics valued.
  • Positive, solutions-oriented attitude required.
