We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Marketing to play a pivotal role in our Orlando operations and other assigned markets. This position requires a strong business acumen, strategic planning capabilities, and analytical skills, along with a deep understanding of Timeshare and Vacation Ownership Sales & Marketing. A proven track record in leading teams is essential for success in this role. The Director of Marketing will collaborate closely with the VP of Marketing to develop, implement, and manage marketing business plans, while also partnering with the SVP of Marketing to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices. In this role, you will work alongside site and regional sales leadership to analyze performance factors, focusing on increasing tour production and financial performance, as well as reviewing the efficiency of marketing programs. You will be responsible for training and motivating new marketing personnel, including supervisors and managers, and will provide guidance on the rollout of new programs and processes. Additionally, you will partner with Area Senior Leadership to review marketing submissions, analyze compensation plans, and conduct various marketing-related analytics. Creating a positive work environment that upholds the highest ethical standards and corporate values is a key aspect of this position.

Responsibilities

  • Work with VP of marketing to plan, implement and manage facilitation of marketing business plans.
  • Partner with SVP of marketing to identify areas of improvement and implement best practices.
  • Analyze performance factors with site and regional sales leadership to increase tour production and financial performance.
  • Train and motivate new marketing personnel, including supervisors and managers.
  • Provide guidelines on the rollout of new programs, best practices, and processes to site and regional marketing leadership.
  • Partner with Area Senior Leadership in Marketing Review submissions, Compensation Plan analysis, and other marketing-related analytics.
  • Create a positive work environment by maintaining high ethical standards and integrity.

Requirements

  • Experience in a marketing leadership position within the timeshare/vacation ownership industry.
  • Professional communication skills for dealing with diverse clients and company personnel.
  • Customer service and problem resolution experience.
  • Vendor relations experience and negotiation skills.
  • Proactive individual with an eye for efficiencies in business processes re-engineering.
  • Extensive knowledge in analyzing and reporting on marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Skills and focus required to consistently meet and exceed budgeted goals.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate data and records.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite products - Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and problem resolution skills.
