About the position

The Director of Marketing Product Management at Albertsons will lead the development of the company's Martech and Adtech vision, creating multi-year roadmaps for innovative digital marketing solutions. This role is pivotal in shaping marketing strategies to enhance customer engagement and drive growth, requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams and leadership of a team of product managers. The position demands a strategic visionary with extensive experience in product management within the retail and grocery industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of product strategy, prioritization, and management for new and existing marketing and advertising technology platforms.
  • Define and execute all aspects of product management from strategy and inception to delivery.
  • Collect and interpret user research and data to conceive innovative products and manage the product lifecycle.
  • Define a Product Vision and communicate its narrative through roadmaps and capabilities.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a team of digital product managers, fostering a strong product culture.
  • Support scaling and optimization of marketing efforts by enhancing communication delivery tools.
  • Define, monitor, and measure product metrics and KPIs, incorporating learnings into product development.
  • Drive innovation by identifying unmet industry needs in Martech and Adtech.
  • Synthesize research from agency users and marketing partners to balance big ideas with feature requests.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to solicit ideas and influence strategy.
  • Build tools that solve problems for internal users and drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle, including defining features and iterating through A/B Testing.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing products and campaigns using data.
  • Foster relationships with external partners to enhance product offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or similar required; Master's preferred.
  • 10+ years relevant experience in Martech with 5+ years in e-commerce/internet in Platform product management.
  • 6 years in senior level operations or product leadership positions.
  • 6 years of experience in building and launching complex products and platforms at scale.
  • 6 years of experience in building, designing, and launching technology products for customer experience.
  • 6 years experience with technical product backlog management in high-tech or digital domains.
  • 5 years of experience in managing product development lifecycle and interfacing with teams.
  • 5 years experience in managing direct reports in a high-tech or digital company.
  • 5 years experience in designing customer-facing products and defining product vision.
  • 5 years of experience in analyzing user behavior and workflow with UX designers.
  • 4 years of experience in defining business goals and analyzing business return.
  • Extensive experience in the retail or grocery industry.
