About the position

The Director of Marketing & Corporate Affairs (M&CA) Program Operations at HCA Healthcare is responsible for leading and managing strategic programs within the M&CA teams. This role involves serving as an internal consultant, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring effective project governance and decision-making processes. The Director will oversee program execution, manage resources, and provide strategic recommendations to solve business challenges, ultimately contributing to the organization's success in delivering impactful healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Develop connected and cohesive planning, tracking, and reporting of assigned programs across teams.
• Provide oversight of project execution, addressing issues and escalations, and understanding cross-project dependencies.
• Develop and manage program governance to ensure effective project management.
• Ensure resource planning and capacity management for assigned programs, contributing to toolkits and change management plans.
• Serve as a business owner with defined decision authority when applicable.
• Ensure assigned programs meet portfolio management defined criteria and milestones.
• Create visibility and accountability within assigned teams, facilitating decisions among M&CA leaders.
• Engage M&CA Operations team to plan and enable financial resources and support, contracting, and resourcing.
• Assess and make recommendations to solve specific assigned business problems as a neutral party.
• Facilitate planning, analysis, and decision-making sessions at all levels of the M&CA organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in relevant fields.
• 5+ years in a leadership or consulting role.
