About the position

The Director of Marketing for Curtiss-Wright's Defense Solutions Division is responsible for creating and executing a global marketing strategy aimed at enhancing brand recognition and driving sales across various product lines. This role involves leading a team of marketing professionals and collaborating with corporate marketing to develop comprehensive marketing plans and measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the overall marketing and communications strategy for the Defense Solutions division.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan.
  • Oversee marketing campaigns and measure return on investment of marketing initiatives.
  • Manage a team of four Marketing Leaders in Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, Integrated Campaigns, and Communication.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Marketing and Communications team to enhance brand recognition.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in B2B marketing, particularly in the defense technology sector.
  • Deep understanding of the global defense industry and experience with the Department of Defense (DoD).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing marketing team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred USG S/TS security clearance.
