Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our team as a Director, Marketing Sparkling & Spreads. You will play a crucial role in the creation and execution of brand strategies to drive business growth. The Director, Marketing Sparkling & Spreads will join Welch's marketing team on the journey to refresh and revitalize a 150-year-old Brand with strong equity and purpose. In 2023, we launched a new master brand campaign called Let's Fruit Stuff Up, new package design, and built a disruptive innovation funnel. We need your leadership to take the next step in making Welch's a modern and relevant brand for today's consumers. Where You'll Work: This role will initially be based out of our Concord, MA headquarters and then moving to a new space in Waltham MA in the summer of 2025 where you can immerse yourself in a dynamic workplace where innovation thrives and collaboration is key. Our company in-office schedule is designed to maximize collaboration & relationship building balanced with flexibility and well-being with 3 days in office and Thursdays/Friday being remote, flex days.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver total fiscal-year sparkling and spreads revenue and profit plan.
  • Translate insights and ideas into marketing strategy, brand plans and communication platforms.
  • Develop and synthesize Business Analysis, Marketing Plans (AOP), Strategic Plan (SGP) recommendations to deliver or exceed stated volume, profit and share objectives.
  • Deepen our understanding and knowledge of the consumer and competitors in the category.
  • Strengthen the team's business acumen and ability to forecast, analyze and create action.
  • Lead all new development efforts within portfolio, including product, packaging and design.
  • Lead development and execution of promotional and advertising activity.
  • Independently motivate, lead and communicate cross-functional/organizational change.
  • Manage, evaluate, coach and develop team members, ranging from Associate Marketing Managers to cross-functional partners and agencies.
  • Play a key role in building a contemporary and inspirational marketing team culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field required; MBA Strongly preferred
  • Minimum 10+ years brand management experience within CPG industry; food & beverage industry preferred
  • Primarily an office-based position, Minimal (15-20%) travel required.
