About the position

The Director of Marketing for the Sterling brand is responsible for overseeing all marketing activities and strategies to drive brand awareness and sales growth. This role involves leading a team to execute product launches, manage advertising campaigns, and develop both short- and long-term marketing strategies aimed at establishing Sterling as a premier plumbing brand. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and execution of marketing initiatives across various channels.

Responsibilities

  • Direct marketing for the Sterling brand across all channels and customer touchpoints.
  • Lead the marketing team and cross-functional teams to communicate product differentiation and benefits.
  • Develop and execute full funnel media campaigns to drive brand awareness and purchase.
  • Create short and long-term marketing strategies to establish Sterling as the premier plumbing brand.
  • Manage the Sterling marketing and advertising budgets to align with sales goals.
  • Lead annual and long-term marketing planning and execution to achieve brand and sales objectives.
  • Incorporate data and performance measurement to build effective marketing plans.
  • Hire and develop talent to build a top marketing organization.

Requirements

  • An undergraduate degree is required; an advanced business degree is preferred.
  • Eight plus years of successful, broad-based marketing and brand experience.
  • Significant familiarity with consumer and trade marketing.
