About the position

The Marketing IT team at CrowdStrike is undergoing a significant transformation by re-architecting the marketing technology stack, including migrating digital properties to the Adobe CMS platform and revamping the Customer Data Platform (CDP) architecture. This leadership role is crucial for optimizing technology investments and integrating new applications to enhance the marketing team's effectiveness across various functions and audiences. The individual will bridge the gap between Marketing and IT, ensuring the marketing teams utilize the best available tools and technologies, while also managing a team of on-shore and off-shore members.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement a comprehensive technology strategy for digital platforms.
  • Advance the maturity of marketing platforms and tools, including DAM, CMS, CDP, and analytics tools.
  • Cultivate and lead collaborative relationships with other IT departments.
  • Develop, track, and execute a product roadmap for the marketing technology stack.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders to improve communication and resource development.
  • Ensure consistent tracking, measurement, and reporting of campaign performance.
  • Lead and manage the marketing technology team, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Develop hands-on expertise in systems and tools to manage work effectively.
  • Stay updated on emerging marketing technologies and recommend new tools as necessary.
  • Lead RFP processes for selecting new marketing technologies and platforms.
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors and negotiate contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing technology, digital marketing, or IT focused on marketing platforms.
  • 5+ years of experience managing and mentoring a global technology team.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Cloud (AEM Site, AEM Assets, Analytics, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and/or Adobe Document Cloud is a plus.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects from conception to completion.
  • Experience assessing value-effort-timelines tradeoff and making prioritization decisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proven track record of implementing new marketing technologies and achieving measurable results.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM).
