The Marketing Director - US Poultry and Swine at Ceva Animal Health is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing all technical marketing activities related to poultry and swine products, including pharmaceuticals and biologicals. This position is based in Lenexa, Kansas, and plays a crucial part in managing the pricing and promotion of Ceva's extensive range of poultry and swine vaccines. The Marketing Director will also be responsible for organizing customer and internal events, ensuring that the marketing strategies align with the overall business objectives of the company. In this role, the Marketing Director will lead a team of four marketing professionals, including a product manager for the Immucox Range, a digital and events marketing associate, a custom vaccines coordinator, and a sales and marketing administrative assistant. The director will manage the US poultry and swine vaccine and pharmaceutical portfolio, which includes products such as Marek's, autogenous, coccidiosis, iron, RNA, and bacterins. This involves setting pricing, promotion strategies, and packaging for these products, as well as building short and long-range sales forecasts. The Marketing Director will conduct market and competitive intelligence, analyzing data from CEESA, USDA, and other third-party research to inform marketing strategies. They will prepare technical marketing materials and oversee customer and industry events, such as IPPE, AAAP, AASV, and World Pork Expo. Additionally, the director will support the development of new vaccines and vaccination techniques, ensuring alignment with the sales and marketing teams. As a key member of the senior leadership team for the US poultry and swine business units, the Marketing Director will serve as a liaison with corporate teams and provide feedback on local market situations. They will also be responsible for managing external marketing communications and maintaining positive relationships with customers through regular visits and events. The role requires a strong focus on performance metrics, compliance with contracts, and ongoing professional development to maintain expertise in the field.
