About the position

Rexford Industrial Realty, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and highly creative Marketing Director to support brand development and contribute to the company's culture of excellence and entrepreneurialism. This role is pivotal in driving brand awareness and producing engaging B2B campaigns and unforgettable email content. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of strategic and innovative thinking, imagination, and a robust sense of design, along with the ability to complete detailed tasks in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Marketing Director will develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, including email marketing campaigns and branded assets. The position requires a creative approach to every marketing challenge, ensuring alignment of communications and messaging across all channels. In addition to managing the company's online presence, including websites, landing pages, and social media platforms, the Marketing Director will nurture B2B relationships through high-touch experiences and extraordinary service with broker partners. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to understand market trends, tenant needs, and the competitive landscape, which will inform marketing strategies and campaigns. The role also involves leading the creation and implementation of multi-channel marketing campaigns, utilizing analytics and market research to measure campaign effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement. The Marketing Director will manage vendors, agencies, and external partners to optimize resources and achieve marketing objectives while contributing to a high-performing marketing team that fosters collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Furthermore, the position includes supporting the development and execution of a B2B loyalty program from conception to launch, focusing on brand development and creative assets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, including email marketing campaigns and branded assets.
  • Ensure alignment of communications and messaging across all channels for every marketing challenge.
  • Manage and develop the company's online presence, including websites, landing pages, and social media platforms, ensuring brand consistency and engaging content.
  • Nurture B2B relationships through creativity, high-touch experiences, and extraordinary service with broker partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand market trends, tenant needs, and the competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, advertising, events, and content marketing initiatives.
  • Utilize analytics and market research to measure campaign effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement, and establish data-driven recommendations.
  • Manage vendors, agencies, and external partners to optimize resources and achieve marketing objectives.
  • Contribute to a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Support the development and execution of a B2B loyalty program from conception to launch, focusing on brand development and creative assets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in marketing, with a focus on real estate, industrial property, or related industry experience highly preferred.
  • Experience with loyalty programs is a plus.
  • Superior writing skills and adherence to AP style.
  • Highly creative and entrepreneurial mindset, approaching problems with innovative solutions.
  • Expertise in website development, email marketing, and brand development.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive decision-making combined with a keen eye for aesthetics and details.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms; HubSpot experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience overseeing creative, ambitious, fast-moving marketing campaigns and email marketing initiatives.
