About the position

The Marketing Director will serve as a key business leader at Nissin Foods, responsible for inspiring the marketing team and driving brand portfolio management, consumer communications, and new product innovation. This role focuses on planning, developing, and implementing marketing strategies to exceed volume and profit objectives, overseeing the Top Ramen brand and a small portfolio of key brands. The Director will leverage consumer insights and marketplace trends to guide marketing efforts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and renovations.

Responsibilities

  • Drive brand portfolio management and consumer communications.
  • Plan and implement marketing strategies to exceed volume and profit objectives.
  • Oversee all aspects of the Top Ramen brand and a small portfolio of key brands.
  • Leverage consumer insights and marketplace trends to inform strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
  • Direct the efforts of brand managers and marketing staff.
  • Analyze category, brand, competitive, and consumer trends to drive insights into action.
  • Develop strategic brand plans and translate them into annual marketing programs.
  • Lead new product ideation and conceptualization for base brands.
  • Manage communications plan execution to deliver growth-driving tactics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree; MBA strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of brand management experience in the CPG industry, preferably food.
  • Minimum of 3 years managing direct reports.
  • Excellent attention to detail and exceptional analytic capability.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in presenting to senior management.
  • Adept at multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated success in building partnerships across functional groups.
  • Strong Microsoft proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
