About the position

The Director of the McAndrews Fund for Athletics at Dickinson College is responsible for leading athletic fundraising initiatives, particularly for the McAndrews Fund. This role requires a highly organized individual capable of managing multiple projects and stakeholders, developing strategies for fundraising, and enhancing engagement with alumni, parents, and friends of the college. The director will create and execute annual plans for solicitations, communications, and events, while also collaborating with athletic administration to support special projects and manage the department budget.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an overall strategy for the McAndrews Fund and other athletic fundraising priorities.
• Create and execute annual plans for solicitations, communications, and events.
• Cultivate relationships with coaches and administrators in athletics on behalf of College Advancement.
• Manage philanthropic relationships of athletic-based alumni, parents, and friends to deepen engagement with Dickinson.
• Plan and execute alumni-focused athletics events that support advancement goals.
• Partner with athletic administration to fundraise for special projects and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Manage the department budget and participate in senior team and Athletics leadership meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree - Liberal Arts degree preferred.
• 3-5 years work experience in a relevant field.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to travel by plane if necessary.
