About the position

As a Director of Paid Social at GroupM Nexus, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective delivery strategies that align with clients' business objectives. This role involves managing client expectations, improving operational processes, and enhancing team performance within the digital community. You will lead a talented team, provide strategic guidance on paid social initiatives, and ensure the delivery of comprehensive insights and recommendations to clients.

Responsibilities

• Formulate paid social strategies for clients, ensuring consistency and imaginative recommendations that deliver results.
• Synthesize information to build capacity and capability in joined-up marketing.
• Assume a lead role in building and integrating social efforts, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
• Investigate new opportunities to expand advisory offerings.
• Direct and coach team members, evaluate performance, and provide feedback.
• Provide stewardship advising on all paid social matters.
• Oversee the work of other GroupM disciplines and assist with integration of client and GroupM agencies.
• Synthesize information related to opportunities and risks for senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Analytics, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or equivalent professional work experience.
• 7+ years of experience planning/buying across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and TikTok.
• Fortune 100 client-facing strategic experience preferred.
• Ability to think strategically and drive results to grow the business.
• Prior experience managing a team and mentoring junior members.
• Ability to interact with all levels of an organization and foster cross-functional teamwork.
