About the position

The Director of Medicaid at Teva Pharmaceuticals will lead the development and execution of the company's Medicaid strategy for its brand and biosimilar portfolios. This role is crucial for maximizing profitability and success across Medicaid accounts by collaborating with various teams and stakeholders. The Director will also provide managerial and strategic leadership to two Associate Directors, ensuring effective execution of strategies and achievement of outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of Teva's Medicaid strategy for brand and biosimilar portfolios.
  • Work with State Medicaid Accounts, Market Access Leadership, Brand Teams, and Contracting Teams to develop market access strategies.
  • Ensure Teva stakeholders are informed about the evolving Medicaid landscape and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Communicate the payer value of each brand/biosimilar and develop rebate contracts through the RFP process.
  • Network and build long-term relationships with key Medicaid accounts.
  • Provide managerial and strategic leadership for two Associate Directors.
  • Support the Medicaid Team in negotiating and executing contract terms with accounts.
  • Collaborate with various teams including Sales, Contracting, Medical, Finance, and Legal to ensure optimal PDL access and resource management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years pharmaceutical industry experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years in Market Access/Payer Account/Medicaid experience.
  • Experience in Sales Management, Marketing, or Account Management.

  • Advanced Business or Pharmacy degree.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
