About the position
The Operations Specialist at CHS Ag Services is responsible for carrying out general labor tasks related to the loading and unloading of agricultural inputs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment. This role requires a focus on customer service and operational efficiency, contributing to the overall success of the facility.
Responsibilities
- Prepare trucks and railcars for loading/unloading, including sampling and attaching/detaching hoses.
- Load and unload agricultural inputs using machinery/equipment.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks, recording them appropriately.
- Regularly inspect equipment in use.
- Monitor and maintain inventory quality.
- Deliver products to customer sites safely and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws regarding transportation and safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in work areas and vehicles.
- Perform grounds maintenance and warehouse work, including forklift operation.
- Report customer complaints and safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Trucking Operations.
- Valid Class A CDL.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends.

- Bulk liquid, Pressure trailer, or Forklift experience.
