About the position

The Site Director for MPG's Criteria Labs business unit will lead operations, engineering, quality, and supply chain departments, ensuring the achievement of business objectives while driving continuous improvement and revenue growth. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge in microelectronics, and the ability to manage and inspire teams effectively. The position holds full P&L responsibility and reports directly to the Vice President of MPG Solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve site goals and adapt operations for sustainable growth.
  • Drive operational efficiency by overseeing site operations and ensuring optimal performance and quality control.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives in product development processes.
  • Optimize the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement and logistics.
  • Enhance customer relationships and support timely resolution of customer concerns.
  • Manage performance measures (KPIs) and provide regular progress reports.
  • Ensure compliance with external regulatory and internal governance responsibilities.
  • Motivate and inspire employees, maintaining high morale and engagement.
  • Oversee personnel development, including training and growth of staff.

Requirements

  • Top Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business discipline plus 12 years of experience.
  • Minimum of six years of experience in DoD markets with P&L responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated business growth in a technology-driven organization.
  • Significant experience establishing relationships with Defense and Space customers.
  • Expertise in clean room and packaging operations.
  • Strong communication skills for interfacing with customers and managing remote teams.
  • Proven teamwork skills to lead team activities towards common goals.
  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills aligned with company objectives.
  • Advanced computer and Microsoft Office skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in managing operations in clean room environments.
  • Experience with customer relationship management in a technical field.
