About the position

The Director of North American OEM Account Sales is responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy for Aerospace Fastener customers. This role involves strategic planning for sales and margin, coordinating with internal teams and customers, and addressing commercial and technical issues. The Director will lead a commercial team, support growth initiatives, and ensure high customer satisfaction while adhering to company policies and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Set and execute short-term and long-term commercial strategy for Aerospace Fastener customers.
  • Develop strategic plans for sales and margin, coordinating with HFS and customers.
  • Participate in the steering committee of the HFS Commercial team for global strategy development.
  • Support the development of the global HFS commercial strategic plan and growth initiatives.
  • Direct the commercial team in identifying and developing customer accounts.
  • Establish objectives to meet HFS growth strategy and target new business.
  • Work with the Procurement team on inventory investment initiatives.
  • Liaise with global HFS locations to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Facilitate resolution of customer issues related to quality and delivery.
  • Review and manage contract requirements within established policies.
  • Prepare and deliver customer presentations as needed.
  • Coordinate changes in equipment, processes, or services for growth and improvements.
  • Conduct people management responsibilities including hiring and performance reviews.
  • Identify and develop key skills of team members to align with business needs.
  • Adhere to company policies and environmental health and safety rules.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is required; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Aerospace fasteners sales.
  • Minimum 5 years of management level experience.
  • Proven interpersonal and leadership abilities to lead a team effectively.
  • Analytically oriented with problem-solving skills.
  • Innovative thinking and creativity.
  • Ability to work flexibly with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated dependability and ability to work independently.
