About the position

The Director of Account Acquisition at WFS Group is a senior-level role focused on driving new business growth through strategic relationship building and high-stakes negotiations with high-value clients. This position requires a deep understanding of revenue operations and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles, ensuring the successful acquisition and onboarding of new accounts that align with the company's growth objectives. The Director will work closely with the CEO to develop and execute strategic growth plans, leveraging insights to optimize the sales acquisition process.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop high-value new account opportunities, driving growth for WFS.
  • Leverage expertise in revenue operations (RevOps) to align customer acquisition models with strategic goals.
  • Take ownership of all account acquisition tasks from initial contact to contract execution.
  • Conduct thorough underwriting and account evaluation to assess growth potential.
  • Ensure a seamless handoff through the onboarding and integration of new accounts, ensuring a smooth setup.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and leadership on strategic growth plans and new revenue targets.
  • Utilize insights to refine and optimize the sales acquisition process for efficiency.
  • Manage the entire account acquisition sales motion from paid, organic, and cold email channels.
  • Engage in high-level negotiations to secure agreements and build strong client relationships.
  • Ensure consistency and adherence to high sales standards across all acquisition efforts.
  • Help build and expand WFS's referral program, focusing on securing high-value strategic referral partners to drive new account growth.
  • Leverage sophisticated outreach tactics using data platforms to identify and engage high-potential prospects as well as manage all inbound opportunities generated from direct response campaigns to maximize conversion.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in sales recruitment, especially for high-performance, high-volume teams.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines.
  • Proven track record of passive candidate generation and skilled in LinkedIn outreach and networking.
  • Savvy with the latest recruitment technologies, tools, systems, leveraging innovative solutions and automations to streamline the hiring process.
  • Experience building or improving recruiting processes and workflows from scratch.
  • Adept at selling the company's value proposition and opportunity to potential candidates.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with candidates.
  • Experience in dynamic, fast-paced environments where growth is rapid and change is constant.
  • Thrives in leadership roles and excited to own the recruiting engine of a growing company.
  • Belief in data-driven decisions and use of metrics to improve recruitment efficiency.
  • Experience in recruitment roles with a high volume of quality candidates.
  • Passion for learning new strategies and optimizing processes for better performance.
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Experience closing deals with high 6 or 7 figure contract value.
