About the position

The Director of Account-Based Marketing at Writer is responsible for creating and executing a strategic go-to-market plan aimed at high-value enterprise target accounts. This role involves collaboration with Sales, Partner, and Marketing teams to enhance engagement, build relationships, and drive sales through effective marketing campaigns. The position requires strong planning skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a results-driven approach to campaign creation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic account-based marketing plan to support Writer's growth in the Enterprise market.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to identify and prioritize target accounts and decision-makers within those accounts.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the target accounts' business needs, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Create and manage personalized, multi-touch campaigns to engage decision-makers at target accounts and drive awareness and interest in Writer's solutions.
  • Work closely with the entire marketing team to develop and curate relevant and compelling campaigns for target accounts.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to develop account-specific messaging and collateral.
  • Track, measure, and report on the success of marketing campaigns based on ROI and budget allocation.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform and adapt the account-based marketing strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in account-based marketing or enterprise marketing.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful account-based marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of the Enterprise market and the buyer's journey.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers.
  • Experience working closely with Sales teams to drive revenue and meet business goals.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track, measure, and report on campaign success.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience using marketing tools such as 6sense, Mutiny, and HubSpot.
