About the position
The Director of Accounting is a finance leadership role within a rapidly growing leasing company. Responsibilities
- Oversee finance and accounting teams, reporting, tax planning, and strategic projects.
- Develop financial strategies aligned with company goals.
- Collaborate with audit and tax consultants; advise executive leadership.
- Ensure team training, J-SOX compliance, and internal controls.
- Manage payroll, cash flow, and treasury operations.
- Update accounting policies and stay current on financial regulations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of accounting experience (public/private mix preferred).
- Expertise in fixed asset and lease accounting.
- CPA preferred but not required.
- Collaborative and approachable leader.
