Responsibilities

• Assist and direct the marketing activities of the Executive Directors, Directors of Nursing, and local Admissions Coordinators in maintaining and improving the daily census.
• Manage Medicare/Medicaid case-mix throughout the facilities to achieve the company's financial objectives.
• Distribute marketing materials to facilities and train Admissions Coordinators in relationship-building with area discharge planners and potential residents/responsible parties.
• Develop and implement an appropriate marketing strategy including attractive and informative marketing materials.
• Ensure compliance with all governmental regulations and company admissions policies and procedures.
• Develop positive relationships with government regulators, families, the area healthcare community, and the community at large.
• Demonstrate knowledge of all State Department of Health rules and regulations and assist in instructing appropriate staff.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree from an accredited institution. Additional experience may be substituted for education.
• Thorough knowledge of state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care.
• Capability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, with sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills, patience, and self-discipline.
