About the position

The Director of Admissions is a key leadership role responsible for managing the admissions process at Lakeland Healthcare Center. This position involves collaborating with marketing efforts, ensuring compliance with relevant policies, and providing tours to potential residents and their families. The Director will also play a crucial role in achieving the facility's census targets by fostering relationships with other healthcare facilities and addressing the needs of patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the admissions process and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Assist the marketing liaison to enhance outreach and engagement.
• Develop strong relationships with other nursing and long-term care facilities.
• Answer questions from patients and their families to ensure comfort during the transition.
• Ensure proper authorization and completion of admission agreements.
• Greet new admissions and prepare their rooms for readiness.

Requirements

• Proven experience in admissions or a related field within healthcare.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop relationships with healthcare facilities and families.
• Knowledge of compliance regulations in healthcare admissions.
