About the position

The Director of Advisor Marketing at Janus Henderson is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance the North America Portfolio Construction and Strategy (PCS) team's business growth. This role involves overseeing the execution of various marketing initiatives, collaborating with sales teams, and building strategic relationships to promote PCS and ETF capabilities effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for the North America PCS team.
  • Oversee day-to-day execution of marketing strategies across various initiatives.
  • Design collateral, digital experiences, and campaigns to promote PCS capabilities.
  • Support the ETF Specialist Team by building campaigns around ETF opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Sales to drive promotion of PCS and ETF suite with targeted firms and clients.
  • Solve cross-functional issues and build strategic relationships for marketing strategies.
  • Work with the product marketing team to support ETF product positioning and launches.
  • Concept, direct, execute, and measure strategic projects from start to finish.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 7 years of marketing management experience within the financial services industry or equivalent required.
  • Effective interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and influence others to execute against business and firm goals.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Maintain high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Working understanding of intermediary distribution including sales process and client relationships.
  • Experience marketing ETFs highly preferred.
  • Understanding of compliance requirements for the advisor marketplace.
  • Intermediary experience preferred.
