About the position

As the Director of Advisor Marketing at Janus Henderson, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that support the North America Janus Henderson Portfolio Construction and Strategy (PCS) team. Your primary focus will be to align these strategies with the broader business growth goals of the team, ensuring that all marketing initiatives are executed seamlessly and effectively. This position requires a hands-on approach to the day-to-day execution of marketing strategies, which will encompass the design of collateral, digital experiences, and campaigns aimed at promoting our PCS capabilities. You will work closely with the North America Client Group to ensure that marketing efforts are aligned with their opportunities and focuses. In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will provide support to the ETF Specialist Team, developing campaigns and resources that highlight ETF opportunities in alignment with the sales channels within the North America Client Group. Building strong relationships with the Sales team will be crucial, as you will become a trusted partner in promoting PCS and the ETF suite to targeted firms and clients. Your role will also involve breaking down barriers, solving cross-functional issues, and gaining consensus for marketing strategies through a collaborative approach. You will collaborate with the product marketing team to support ETF product positioning and product launches, ensuring that all marketing efforts are strategically directed and measurable. This position requires the ability to conceptualize, direct, execute, and measure strategic projects from start to finish, while also carrying out other duties as assigned. Your contributions will be essential in driving the success of the marketing initiatives at Janus Henderson, ultimately helping clients achieve superior financial outcomes through differentiated insights and world-class service.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for the North America Janus Henderson Portfolio Construction and Strategy (PCS) team.
  • Execute day-to-day marketing initiatives, ensuring seamless coordination and successful implementation of all activities.
  • Design collateral, digital experiences, and campaigns to promote PCS capabilities.
  • Support the ETF Specialist Team by building campaigns and resources around ETF opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Sales to drive promotion of PCS and the ETF suite with targeted firms and clients.
  • Solve cross-functional issues and build strategic relationships to gain consensus for marketing strategies.
  • Work with the product marketing team to support ETF product positioning and launches.
  • Conceptualize, direct, execute, and measure strategic projects from start to finish.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 7 years of marketing management experience within the financial services industry or equivalent required.
  • Effective interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and influence others to execute against business and firm goals.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Maintain high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Working understanding of intermediary distribution including sales process and client/prospect relationships.
  • Experience marketing ETFs highly preferred.
  • Understanding of compliance requirements for the advisor marketplace.
  • Intermediary experience preferred.
