About the position

Ensemble RCM, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Director of Automation Engineering to join our team in Blue Ash, OH. This pivotal role involves managing our Robotic Process Automation (RPA) IT team and defining the roadmap and budget for automated solutions projects aimed at enhancing software processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying areas for improvement within our current systems, designing and implementing automated solutions, and addressing any technical issues that may arise. Additionally, the Director will maintain the RPA infrastructure, communicate and implement coding standards, and lead the development lifecycle of automation projects. In this role, you will utilize Automation Anywhere V11 and A360 for license procurement, alongside programming languages such as Java, .NET (C#, VB, etc.), VBA, HTML, SQL, and Mainframe. A solid understanding of programming and object-oriented programming (OOP) basics, as well as UML or other modeling languages, is essential. You will ensure the quality of project development and oversee the completion of proper documentation and handoffs to the support team. Furthermore, you will be tasked with ensuring that technical teams contribute to an integrated code library, employing database design techniques, and assessing browser and client-specific compatibility issues. Applying ERP concepts in client engagements will also be a key responsibility. As a leader, you will conduct performance evaluations and mentor software developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the team. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus two years of automated software solutions experience, or a Bachelor's degree plus five progressive years of experience.
  • At least two years of experience managing an RPA IT team.
  • Experience in utilizing Automation Anywhere V11 and A360 for license procurement.
  • Proficiency in Java, .NET (C#, VB, etc.), VBA, HTML, SQL, and Mainframe programming.
  • Knowledge of OOP basics and UML or other modeling languages.
  • Experience ensuring quality of project development and documentation.
  • Ability to employ database design techniques and assess compatibility issues.
  • Experience applying ERP concepts in user engagements.
  • Experience conducting performance evaluations and mentoring software developers.
  • Experience defining the roadmap and budget for automated solutions projects.
