The incumbent will also handle purchasing and assist with facility improvements, acting as a liaison to the Marketing Department to support marketing initiatives. Another 20% of the role involves assisting coaches with recruiting efforts. This includes compiling information, maintaining a recruiting database, planning and coordinating visits, and liaising with the Compliance Office. The Director will also coordinate scholarship paperwork and prepare academic letters and mailing lists. The position also requires coordination with the Athletic Business Office for logistical needs such as transportation, lodging, and meals, which accounts for another 20% of the responsibilities. The Director will be the primary contact for updates and changes, ensuring that meals for hotel stays and post-game events are organized, and will coordinate travel arrangements for away games. Additionally, the Director is responsible for ordering uniforms and equipment, maintaining accurate inventory, and overseeing the locker room setup, which constitutes 15% of the role. The supervision of student managers is also a key responsibility, including hiring, scheduling, and overseeing their work.
