The Director of Brand Marketing at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino is a pivotal role that focuses on leading the development and execution of all guest-facing communication needs in collaboration with the operations team. This position is integral to overseeing enterprise-wide marketing initiatives, ensuring that the brand's messaging aligns with the company's strategic goals. The Director will partner closely with Creative Services teams to facilitate the successful development and execution of marketing campaigns and projects, aimed at fulfilling both short-term and long-term company objectives. In this role, the Director will be responsible for directing and managing all marketing functions across various Lines of Business and Properties. This involves interpreting business needs and crafting strategic marketing plans that resonate with the target audience. The Director will continuously evaluate advertising initiatives by analyzing data, identifying trends, and making actionable recommendations to enhance results and drive success for the company. Additionally, the Director will develop and submit creative briefs, project requests, and budget and timeline parameters for creative work. Acting as the main point of contact for property marketing approvals, the Director will provide prioritization guidance on all campaigns and projects. As the brand subject matter expert, the Director will consult with Line of Business and Property leadership and executives on all guest-facing developments and communications. This role also emphasizes the importance of driving and upholding the rollout of company processes, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness. Leading a team of marketers, the Director will foster a work environment that promotes guest service, teamwork, performance feedback, individual recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction. This includes ensuring quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes that reflect the company's commitment to diversity.
