About the position

The Director of Bundles Finance is a key role within Cedar Gate Technologies' Bundled Payment Division, responsible for driving essential finance functions and providing strategic financial guidance to meet operational goals. This position involves tackling complex financial challenges in the healthcare industry and significantly influencing financial decisions. The role offers opportunities for career growth and the chance to enhance technical accounting and analytical skills in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Leading month-end closing activities and managing the general ledger for each entity.
  • Coordinating year-end audits with external auditors for each 162(b) health organization.
  • Preparing and presenting monthly financial reporting packages to division leaders, including balance sheets, income statements, variance analyses, and trend reports.
  • Representing the finance team in board meetings by presenting financial performance, forecasts, and trend analyses.
  • Conducting financial planning and analysis for each 162(b) health organization.
  • Overseeing treasury functions and weekly cash forecasting, along with monthly cash forecast presentations to division leadership.
  • Calculating and ensuring timely cash distributions every week as well as annual income distributions.
  • Providing ad hoc reporting and analysis to support cross-departmental needs.

Requirements

  • Seven (7) or more years of experience in accounting and finance positions.
  • Healthcare services industry experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a Master's degree in Accountancy.
  • CPA certification or plans for taking the CPA exam in the near future.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills for interacting with executives and board members.
  • Demonstrated achievements showcasing analytical and reporting abilities.
  • Ability to travel as much as 10%, primarily within Texas.
  • Currently eligible to work in the USA without requiring a US employment visa.
