About the position

The Director of Business Development and Marketing at Right Path Behavioral Health Services is responsible for driving business growth through strategic planning, market analysis, and fostering strong customer relationships within the behavioral health industry. This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare providers, agencies, and vendors to create referral partnerships and ensure high-quality service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and articulate the Company's full line of services capabilities and competitive advantages.
  • Meet with and establish referral relationships with community providers such as VA hospitals, community centers, and primary care physicians.
  • Establish results-producing relationships with the referral community including physicians, discharge planners, and payers.
  • Source and close new clients through referrals, cold calling, networking, and other means.
  • Inform the CEO and Leadership Team of insights gained from networking with providers to enhance referrals.
  • Attend Leadership Team meetings and other meetings as directed by the CEO to meet performance goals.
  • Conduct extensive market research on the behavioral health sector to identify trends and growth opportunities.
  • Identify potential clients and partners in the behavioral health field, including hospitals and community organizations.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to build a strong network and represent the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales or marketing, with an emphasis on the behavioral health industry.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health trends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional networking and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Results-oriented with a strong sense of initiative.
