The Director of Business Development (DBD) at Taylorville Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center is a leadership role responsible for managing the facility's inquiry and admission processes. The DBD plays a crucial role in increasing occupancy and revenue by establishing relationships with hospital personnel and guiding the facility staff in enhancing customer experiences. This position involves coordinating sales and marketing programs to achieve facility and regional goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the facility inquiry and admission process.
  • Provide customers with facility-related information through tours, visits, and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate and implement effective sales and marketing programs for the facility.
  • Create and maintain professional relationships with hospital social workers, case managers, and physicians to secure new admissions.
  • Communicate with physicians for potential new referrals and market facility services.
  • Coordinate with the financial office for accuracy of census and verification of insurance information.
  • Manage the internal admission process and referral flow.
  • Meet census goals by collaborating with the facility's interdisciplinary team.
  • Lead weekly and monthly meetings to achieve business and personal professional goals.
  • Guide the facility's internal and external sales program to ensure customer satisfaction and market penetration.
  • Assist with market research, including competitive analysis and demographic analysis.
  • Work with the facility team to improve systems affecting occupancy.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of job-related experience, preferably in marketing and long-term care.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a professional appearance and presentation.
  • Motivated and organized team player capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
