The Director of Business Operations at the Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center plays a crucial role in the implementation and coordination of operational changes aimed at meeting financial goals. This position is integral to the center's mission of providing comprehensive care for emotional and behavioral problems, including severe mental illness and substance abuse. The Director will oversee clinical operations, staffing changes, policy and procedure modifications, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The role emphasizes a strength-based, recovery-centered model of care, advocating for the vulnerable population of Marion County. In this capacity, the Director will proactively contribute to Eskenazi Health's mission of advocacy, care, teaching, and service. They will work collaboratively with the leadership team to set goals, make recommendations for program enhancements, and reallocate staffing resources as necessary. The Director will also conceptualize and develop initiatives aimed at improving consumer satisfaction and performance outcomes, establishing quality indicators for programs, and regularly assessing progress against these benchmarks. The Director will be responsible for ensuring that client care adheres to established best practices, continually assessing program efficiency, and making necessary adjustments to maximize productivity and profitability. This includes establishing and negotiating contracts, grants, and service agreements, as well as fulfilling internal and external reporting requirements to evaluate project success. Additionally, the Director will collaborate with the Financial Manager to conduct financial and operational analyses, ensuring alignment with clinical operations and compliance with regulatory agencies. They will also evaluate community and regional clinical needs to develop business opportunities and plans that address these needs, while establishing performance thresholds and systems for measuring and tracking clinical standards.
