About the position

The Jewish Board is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as the Director of Business Operations for the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) division. This role is pivotal in overseeing and managing all aspects of our IDD business operations, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The IDD Business Operations Director will be responsible for strategic planning, financial management, operational efficiency, compliance and regulatory affairs, team leadership, stakeholder management, and quality assurance. In this position, you will develop and implement strategic plans to drive the growth and success of our IDD business operations. You will oversee the financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, while also streamlining and optimizing operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity. Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements related to IDD services will be a key responsibility. As a leader, you will provide strong guidance to the IDD business operations team and build and maintain relationships with government agencies, community organizations, and other service providers. You will also develop and implement quality assurance measures to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of IDD services. This role is not just about managing operations; it’s about making a significant impact in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, all through an Orthodox Jewish lens that emphasizes community integration and collaboration with families.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the growth and success of IDD business operations.
  • Oversee the financial operations of the IDD business, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Streamline and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements related to IDD services.
  • Provide strong leadership and guidance to the IDD business operations team.
  • Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, community organizations, and other service providers.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance measures to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of IDD services.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in business administration, healthcare management, or related field.
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in business operations, preferably in the IDD or healthcare industry.
  • Familiarity with Orthodox Jewish Practices.
