About the position

The Director of Strategy and Business Operations, Employee & Workplace Experience (EWE) at Adobe will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and operational efficiency of the Employee & Workplace Experience team. This position requires a dynamic leader who will partner closely with the VP of Employee & Workplace Experience and her leadership team to develop, manage, and implement key initiatives that enhance the overall employee experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing operating mechanisms and processes that drive accountability and continuous improvement within a complex global HR Operations organization. In this high-impact role, the Director will be expected to leverage their strong business acumen and operational intuition to assess business needs, identify gaps in strategic operations, and transform challenges into prioritized, well-executed programs that deliver value. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach, willing to delve into the details while maintaining a strategic overview. This position will primarily focus on collaboration with senior leaders across the business, ensuring that initiatives align with Adobe's core values and strategic objectives. Key responsibilities include building and managing the operational cadence for the Employee & Workplace Experience business, driving performance reviews, and ensuring effective communication of progress to various levels within the organization. The Director will also serve as a thought partner, influencing key senior partners and providing programmatic support for initiatives within the EWE and EX organizations. Building effective, trusting relationships across the organization will be crucial to support Adobe's strategic business direction and to drive initiatives that align resources with top priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage the operational cadence for running the Employee & Workplace Experience business.
  • Drive accountability and continuous process improvement; ensure and set standard methodologies.
  • Work with the cross-Employee Experience (EX) Business Operations team to establish and drive initiatives across several time horizons.
  • Drive cadence for prep and reviews for quarterly progress towards achievements, including quarterly communication updates.
  • Serve as thought partner, informing and influencing points of view of key senior partners.
  • Drive and provide programmatic support, accountability and ownership for key initiatives within EWE and with key partners across the EX organization.
  • Partner with EX Communications to ensure clear and consistent roll-outs of programs and processes.
  • Build effective, trusting business relationships across the organization to support Adobe's strategic business direction.
  • Partner with Centers of Excellence and functional partners to drive initiatives including alignment of resources to the top priorities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of shown experience in strategic operational roles, partnering directly with senior leaders.
  • BA or BS degree in a related field; HR experience required.
  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and through tools like PowerPoint.
  • Extraordinary ability to program manage across complex operations.
  • Critical thinking skills and able to take sizable problems and break them into small meaningful pieces.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, a can-do attitude and attention to operational details.
  • Ability to develop relationships and partnerships at all levels of the organization.
  • Exhibit strong leadership and influencing skills, and design, implement, and lead change management initiatives.
  • Excellent meeting design and facilitation skills.
  • Superb judgment and integrity, including excellent decision-making skills.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $119,400 -- $276,500 annually based on location and experience.
  • Potential eligibility for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
