About the position

The Director of Clinical Operations is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing and managing the clinical operations of our two facilities. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate is at minimum a licensed registered nurse with a strong background in clinical management and a passion for patient-centered care. This position is critical in maintaining the standards of care and operational excellence that our concierge medical practice is known for. The Director will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and other leadership team members to develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and protocols that align with the organization's mission and values. The Director will also be responsible for fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development among clinical staff across both facilities. In addition to leadership and management responsibilities, the Director will ensure that the highest standards of patient care are maintained at all times. This includes monitoring and evaluating clinical services to ensure they meet established standards and regulatory requirements. The Director will also develop and implement quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care and operational efficiency. Managing clinical workflows effectively will be essential to ensure optimal utilization of resources and staffing. Regulatory compliance is another critical aspect of this role. The Director will ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices. This includes preparing for and overseeing inspections and audits by regulatory bodies. The Director will also promote a patient-centered approach to care, ensuring a positive and seamless experience for all patients, addressing and resolving patient concerns and complaints promptly and effectively, and implementing programs to improve patient satisfaction and engagement. Financial management is also a key responsibility of the Director. This includes developing and managing clinical budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery of services, monitoring financial performance of clinical operations, and collaborating with the finance team to ensure accurate billing and coding practices. Overall, the Director of Clinical Operations will play a vital role in ensuring the success and sustainability of our concierge medical practice, driving improvements in clinical operations and patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN); Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Current, at minimum unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical management experience, preferably in a concierge or private practice setting, but open to other settings.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Proven track record of improving clinical operations and patient outcomes.
