The Director of Communications at the Gund Institute for Environment will enhance public understanding of environmental issues and elevate the Institute's profile as a leading research center. This role involves developing and executing a comprehensive communications strategy, managing the Institute's brand, and collaborating with various stakeholders to promote its initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Gund Institute's communications strategy to enhance the impact of its work.
• Communicate the Gund Institute's work to external audiences effectively.
• Manage and empower the Gund Institute's brand and outreach efforts.
• Identify and contribute to joint communications initiatives at the university and with external partners.
• Train students, faculty, and staff in communication practices.
• Supervise an employee and consultants.

• Strong project management skills.
• Demonstrable interest in environmental sciences and sustainability.
• Ability to lead and work collaboratively as a team player.
