About the position

The Director of Creative Solutions and IT at Chenega MIOS is responsible for overseeing the creative direction and brand management of marketing and strategic communications. This role involves ensuring that design deliverables align with project objectives, collaborating with senior staff and contractors, and creating impactful media products that support communication goals. The position requires a strong focus on corporate branding and marketing campaigns, as well as the ability to manage a complex workload in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight, guidance and training through regular meetings with the team and create/maintain corporate-wide policies and guidelines for internal and external communications.
  • Ensure design deliverables align with project objectives and business requirements.
  • Regularly collaborate with senior staff, Contracting Officers Representative (COR) as well as other contractors and staff to ensure the final product meets or exceeds the projects requirements.
  • Use creative problem-solving skills to conceive media products that support communication goals.
  • Obtain and direct resources to create impactful design.
  • Oversee methods for meeting other content delivery requirements.
  • Create, review, and approve communications materials.
  • Support initial concept, creative design and direction and brand management of all marketing and strategic communications including: corporate branding, marketing campaigns, annual reports, press releases, brochures, product sheets, corporate presentations, marketing booths and logistics for trade shows, company website, and social media, mobile apps, interactive multimedia, video, SharePoint, WordPress, advertisements, presentations and product data sheets.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Graphics and Multimedia Specialization or related field required
  • 8+ years of relevant experience required
  • Previous DTRA experience preferred
  • Ground check required with ability to obtain an Interim Secret or Secret clearance
  • Excellent written and verbal communications and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Ability to handle large, complex workload, effectively coordinate multiple resources, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluation methods and techniques
  • Ability to handle controversial situations with tact and diplomacy
  • Proficient in Multimedia
  • Excellent PC skills. Highly proficient in MS Office Suite.
