About the position

The Director of Credit Management & Accounts Receivable is a key leadership role within the Agriculture industry, responsible for overseeing the company's credit policy, managing collections, and ensuring the timely release of approved orders. This position requires collaboration with various teams to align credit management practices with strategic initiatives, driving innovation and efficiency in credit processes.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage transactional processing and collections, including customer correspondence, new dealer set-ups, and maintenance of customer master data and credit files.
  • Conduct functional forecasting and analysis of unsettled retails, wholesale financing, and review terms for consistency to defined programs.
  • Engage in strategic planning, competitive benchmarking of terms, and risk management.
  • Ensure seamless global alignment between credit management practices and strategic initiatives by driving collaborative innovation to streamline credit processes.
  • Regularly review Accounts Receivable (AR) aging reports and dealer statements.
  • Oversee growth and streamlining of credit functions both internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Logistics, and Production teams to ensure timely release of machine orders.
  • Perform AR month-end and year-end closing duties, watch list reporting, and planning.
  • Maintain and review annual credit lines.
  • Adhere to established company values, practices, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years' experience in Credit Management & Accounts Receivable or a related field within the Agriculture industry
  • Proficient in using 3M and ADP - Financial Services
  • Knowledge of Accounting Software Systems is essential
  • Experience in B2B collections and CRM is necessary
  • Strong understanding of Accounting Functions and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Familiarity with Billing Functions, Cash Activity, and Cash Applications
  • Ability to Approve Credit and manage Consumer Credit and Corporate Credit
  • Experience in Credit Administration, Credit Analysis, and Credit Approvals
  • Ability to manage Credit Exposure and make informed Credit Decisions
  • Experience managing a Credit Department and setting Credit Limits
  • Knowledge of Credit products and structures, Credit Reports, and Credit Risk Management
  • Able to assess Credit Worthiness of clients and customers
  • Proficient in Financial Analysis, Financial Analytics, and Ad Hoc Financial Analysis
  • Experience in Financial Planning and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • Proficient in using SAP and SAP ERP
  • Knowledge of Accounts receivables systems and managing Credit lines.
