About the position

The Director of Customer Success at Enlighted is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing the customer journey from sales to account management. This position involves managing a team of customer success professionals, developing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, and collaborating with various teams to drive business growth. The role requires a strong focus on continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making in the smart building industry, particularly in lighting controls.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the customer success team, providing coaching and mentorship to optimize individual and team performance.
  • Develop and implement effective Sales/Account Management strategies and tactics aligned with company goals.
  • Engage with the Product team to develop strategies for upselling/cross-selling new products into the existing customer base.
  • Develop account plans that maximize customer satisfaction while optimizing wallet share.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to develop and manage sales budgets and forecasts.
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends and innovations in the smart building market, with a particular focus on lighting controls.
  • Take a data-driven approach to problem-solving with a focus on continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years in leading Customer Success Management (CSM) teams.
  • Experience in leading CSM teams through business transformation programs or leading them successfully into higher performance organizations.
  • 3+ years in Account Management or Customer Success.
  • 3+ years of experience in the smart building industry, specifically lighting controls.
  • 3+ years of experience using Salesforce automation tools and CRM systems.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5+ years of experience in the building technologies industry.
