About the position

The Director of Data Infrastructure will lead and scale the data platform of an innovative AdTech company, focusing on optimizing cloud resources and adopting new technologies to manage high-volume data environments. This role involves overseeing a small team, managing cloud infrastructure, and driving the integration of new technologies to ensure high availability and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of DevOps/platform architects and production support engineers.
• Handle large amounts of data.
• Lead the data platform roadmap.
• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, with exposure to Azure and GCP) and optimize costs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to review dashboards and provide key insights.
• Drive the integration of new technologies and ensure high availability in a big data environment.
• Be hands-on in managing microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and automation toolings.

Requirements

• Experience managing data platforms, ideally in high-scale environments.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS (Azure and GCP knowledge is a plus).
• Proven experience with DevOps, Python, and microservices architecture.
• Ability to optimize cloud costs and ensure resource allocation is efficient.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Experience managing small teams while being hands-on.
