About the position

The Director of Enterprise Data Science will lead a newly formed team focused on delivering measurable business value through advanced data science and AI/ML solutions. This role involves overseeing the entire model development and deployment lifecycle, identifying high-impact business opportunities, and promoting the value generated by the Data Science team. The position requires collaboration across various organizational partners to enhance data infrastructure and quality, ensuring scalable ML solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a global team of 8-10 data science professionals.
  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML solutions across various business domains.
  • Identify and prioritize enterprise AI use cases and define a short and long-term AI roadmap.
  • Optimize the data science and AI portfolio to drive incremental business and customer value.
  • Collaborate with partners to improve data infrastructure and enhance data quality for ML solutions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in developing data science and AI/ML solutions.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in building and retaining a high-performing Data Science team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a quantitative field; Master's/PhD preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing high visibility cross-enterprise projects.
  • Strong background in Machine Learning with experience in large-scale ML model implementation.
  • Expertise in ML modeling techniques such as deep learning, gradient boosting, NLP, regression, and clustering.
  • Strong written and oral presentation skills.
