About the position

The Director of Digital and Marketing Technology at Crunch Fitness is a pivotal role that focuses on advancing and optimizing the integration of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, specifically HubSpot, with the execution of digital marketing programs across all Crunch locations. This position requires a strong leader who can effectively manage projects and coordinate with various partners throughout the project lifecycle. The Director will be responsible for aligning resources, timelines, and technology while continually fine-tuning and optimizing individual programs, tactics, and campaigns as needed. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical proficiency in marketing technology and a well-developed ability to guide and execute marketing projects. A proactive approach, a sense of urgency, a commitment to self-learning, and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role. The Director will serve as the strategic leader for all digital marketing projects, both internally and with third-party vendors, ensuring that the marketing automation platform (HubSpot) is configured and optimized to meet business needs. In addition to managing the CRM strategy across various audiences, the Director will lead content management efforts and troubleshoot digital assets for Crunch.com and the Crunch app. They will also guide the marketing team on digital best practices and utilize tools like HubSpot and Google Analytics to produce regular performance and ROI reports, sharing successes and best practices across different markets and franchisees. Staying abreast of industry trends and innovations in marketing automation and analytics is crucial to ensure that Crunch continues to evolve and optimize its marketing capabilities. Furthermore, the Director will coach and manage the Digital Marketing Associate and Digital Marketing Coordinator to ensure that annual goals are met for both Crunch and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the strategic leader and project manager for all digital marketing projects built internally and with various third parties.
  • Configure and optimize the marketing automation platform (HubSpot) to effectively deliver business needs.
  • Lead content management and test and troubleshoot digital assets for Crunch.com, the Crunch app, and additional digital vehicles.
  • Guide the marketing team on digital best practices for partnerships, website creative, and sale rollouts.
  • Use HubSpot and Google Analytics to produce regular performance/ROI reports and share successes and best practices across various markets and franchisees.
  • Manage CRM strategy across various audiences (prospects, members, personal training clients, etc.) for the brand and build testing frameworks for continuous optimization of open, click-through, and conversion rates.
  • Monitor industry trends and innovation in marketing automation and analytics to ensure continued evolution and optimization of approach and capability.
  • Coach and manage Digital Marketing Associate and Digital Marketing Coordinator to ensure that annual goals are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or other relevant area.
  • 6+ years of digital marketing experience.
  • Advanced understanding of HubSpot (Marketing Hub, Sales Hub) and its integration in support of marketing and organizational/business strategies.
  • Experience in a B2C marketing organization is highly preferred with a focus on marketing technology and systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to partner with cross-functional partners and team members.
  • Documented record of using Google Analytics and GTM to create and analyze data that informs marketing strategies, campaigns, and tactics.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to think laterally and creatively and problem-solve while juggling multiple tasks.
  • Experience testing and troubleshooting digital assets.
  • Familiarity with HTML is appreciated.
