About the position

The Director of Digital Marketing Analytics at MGM Resorts International is a leadership role focused on driving insights and recommendations through the analysis of digital marketing data across various channels. This position involves overseeing a team of analysts to evaluate media, email, web, and app performance, and to deliver actionable insights that enhance digital marketing strategies and improve customer engagement. The role requires collaboration with corporate executives and professionals across the company's portfolio to implement data-driven initiatives that support business success.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the analysis of digital marketing data across media, email, web, and app channels, focusing on performance metrics, customer engagement trends, and user behavior.
  • Develop and implement an end-to-end analytics roadmap that supports the business's digital marketing strategy.
  • Develop and present strategic insights and recommendations based on data analysis to optimize digital marketing campaigns, improve customer experiences, and drive conversions.
  • Monitor and evaluate channel trends, attribution models, and the effectiveness of digital campaigns.
  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement and lead A/B testing initiatives to test hypotheses, validate strategies, and optimize digital marketing efforts across campaigns and web/app platforms.
  • Query, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to uncover actionable insights.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular quality checks and validation.
  • Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing tools and technologies, ensuring that the team leverages the most effective solutions for data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Manage and mentor a team of digital marketing analysts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality analysis and actionable insights.
  • Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
  • Analyze customer journeys across digital marketing channels and web/app, identifying opportunities for enhancement and developing strategies to improve engagement and conversion rates.
  • Partner with multiple teams to ensure alignment on digital marketing strategies and to implement data-driven initiatives that move the business forward.
  • Prepare and present analytical findings, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership and business partners, ensuring clarity and actionable outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Finance, or related fields, or equivalent education and experience.
  • 4+ Years of experience in the relevant subject area expertise with experience in driving business performance through operational insights and analytics.
  • Experience in writing and executing SQL, Python, Azure Databricks.
  • Proven ability to drive business performance through operational insights and analytics.
