About the position

The Director of Digital Marketing and Content Creation will leverage their expertise in social media and content strategy to enhance the brand's presence and engagement across various platforms. This role focuses on storytelling, community management, and the execution of innovative social media campaigns that align with corporate partnerships and fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate creativity, strategic thinking, and a commitment to excellence in digital marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discussions with internal teams to create, execute, and distribute social media campaigns.
  • Attend events to capture content and publish it promptly.
  • Curate and amplify user-generated content to strengthen brand engagement.
  • Build and maintain an annual and monthly social media content calendar.
  • Manage multiple initiatives/projects in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Schedule, post, and manage content on social platforms to reach target markets effectively.
  • Monitor social communities to address issues and engage with fans in real-time.
  • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results.
  • Compile weekly reports on social media performance and KPIs.
  • Incorporate fundraising opportunities into social media strategies.
  • Maintain knowledge of current trends in content development and digital communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in social media, communications, public relations, or marketing.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, and Photoshop.
  • Familiarity with Meta/Facebook Ad Manager, LinkedIn Campaigns, Google Video Ads, Instagram, X, and TikTok.
  • Proficient in SEO best practices and social enterprise tools.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Zoho software.
  • Advanced knowledge of graphic design and photography.
