About the position

The Director of Digital and Media Strategy is a leadership role focused on developing and implementing a comprehensive digital strategy that aligns with the organization's overall business objectives. This position oversees all digital marketing activities, ensuring their effectiveness and efficiency in contributing to the organization's growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute digital strategy: Create and implement a strategic roadmap for digital initiatives, aligning them with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Oversee digital marketing operations: Manage and coordinate all digital marketing activities, including website development, SEO, content marketing, social media, email marketing, and paid advertising.
  • Measure and analyze performance: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends: Keep abreast of the latest digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless integration of digital initiatives.
  • Manage budgets: Oversee and manage digital marketing budgets to ensure efficient allocation of resources.
  • Build and maintain relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and vendors.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership skills: Ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Digital marketing expertise: Deep understanding of digital marketing principles, tactics, and tools.
  • Analytical skills: Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Strategic thinking: Ability to develop and execute long-term digital strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills: Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify and resolve challenges.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with digital advertising platforms: Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.
  • Knowledge of web development and design: HTML, CSS, and basic web design principles.
  • Experience with analytics tools: Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.
  • Certifications in digital marketing: Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ), Google Ads Certified, etc.
  • Familiarity with ad buying DSPs.
