About the position

The Director of Digital Marketing at American Bath Group (ABG) is a pivotal role responsible for executing the marketing vision and strategy for ABG Ecommerce across all channels. This includes managing paid advertising, shopping, SEO, social media, affiliate/influencer marketing, and retail media. The individual in this position will oversee multiple teams that are integral to these disciplines, ensuring a cohesive approach to digital marketing across the organization. The Director will be tasked with executing a multi-brand strategy aimed at increasing brand equity and consumer engagement across the total eCommerce landscape. This role also involves owning and optimizing the digital shelf through both organic and paid search optimization, which is critical for enhancing the visibility and performance of ABG's products online. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset and a broad skill set that includes visionary thought leadership, strong analytical capabilities, excellent business judgment, and the ability to build and manage relationships effectively. A passion for being a change-agent and making a positive impact on the organization is essential. The Director will be responsible for establishing goals and departmental KPIs, holding teams accountable for their performance, and ensuring that all marketing efforts adhere to the brand voice and strategy across various channels. Collaboration with division leaders is crucial to ensure that shared services meet or exceed individual needs. In addition to leading the marketing teams, the Director will be expected to develop comprehensive marketing plans that include strategy, goals, budget, and tactics. The role requires a deep understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Google Analytics, and social media platforms such as Pinterest, X, and Meta. The Director will also need to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement, ensuring that ABG remains competitive in the digital space.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the marketing vision and strategy for ABG Ecommerce across all channels.

Requirements

  • At least 7-10 years of digital marketing/SEO experience leading an e-commerce or retail marketing operation.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business required.
  • Strong analytical expertise with the ability to measure and analyze campaign results.
  • Experience developing marketing plans including strategy, goals, budget, and tactics.
  • Knowledge of Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Google Analytics, and social media platforms.
