About the position

As the Director of Digital Marketing at Brighton, you will lead the agency's digital marketing efforts, developing and executing innovative strategies to help both the agency and its clients thrive in a rapidly changing digital landscape. This key leadership role requires a blend of strategic thinking and creativity, with a focus on delivering results and pushing the boundaries of digital marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Champion Digital Innovation by staying at the forefront of digital trends and bringing innovative solutions to life.
  • Create and implement future-focused digital strategies that set the agency and clients up for long-term success.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a dynamic digital marketing team, fostering creative thinking and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with creative, content, and client teams to ensure seamless execution of digital efforts.
  • Serve as the go-to digital expert for clients, helping them harness new technologies and trends to achieve their goals.
  • Guide clients in future-proofing their digital marketing efforts, including AI integration and adopting new platforms.
  • Partner with the new business team to showcase digital expertise and grow client relationships.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize digital campaigns across multiple channels while monitoring performance goals.
  • Analyze campaign data and performance metrics to optimize campaigns and share insights with clients and internal teams.
  • Embrace cutting-edge tools like AI and machine learning to maximize campaign success and ROI.
  • Continuously adapt to new digital platforms and tools to keep the agency and clients ahead in the digital space.
  • Identify and integrate automation and emerging technologies to enhance marketing performance.
  • Collaborate with UX designers and developers to create user-friendly digital experiences that improve engagement and conversions.
  • Partner with the creative team to ensure digital content is innovative and engaging.
  • Oversee the creation of content that resonates with target audiences, ensuring cohesive storytelling across channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; a Master's or relevant certifications is a bonus.
  • 8-12 years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, ideally in an agency setting.
  • Deep knowledge of SEO, SEM, PPC, social media, content, email marketing, and automation.
  • Experience with AI, machine learning, AR/VR, or other cutting-edge technologies is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly explain digital strategies to clients and teams.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills to quickly find solutions and turn challenges into opportunities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications in Google Ads, Google Analytics, HubSpot Inbound Marketing, or similar.
  • Proven success leading creative and innovative digital projects that have delivered great results.
  • Comfortable collaborating with creative teams while driving strategy that aligns with client goals.
