About the position

The Director of Digital Marketing at Crusoe Energy is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with the company's business goals. This role requires a creative and analytical leader who can measure performance, make informed decisions, and build a core marketing function from the ground up. The position involves close collaboration with marketing and sales leadership to enhance brand awareness, customer engagement, and product adoption in the cloud technology sector.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that includes SEO, SEM, content marketing, social media, email marketing, and paid advertising.
  • Analyze performance metrics and customer insights to optimize campaigns and improve ROI.
  • Partner with product marketing, sales, and design teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all digital channels.
  • Oversee the digital marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize impact.
  • Prepare regular reports on campaign performance and digital marketing initiatives for senior leadership, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Grow the digital marketing organization by hiring exceptional, high-performing digital marketers.
  • Lead, develop, coach, and grow a team, fostering a culture of innovation, creativity, collaboration, and execution excellence.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of digital marketing experience, with 5+ years in a management role.
  • Track record of successfully launching and managing AI and/or cloud-based products, driving awareness and adoption, ideally for complex technical products.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills (high EQ).
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically and be detail-oriented.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Proven track record of successfully building and scaling high-functioning, bar-raising teams.
  • Extensive experience in collaborating with executives.
  • A MBA degree with a marketing concentration is strongly preferred.
