Lifester.com is seeking a highly creative and motivated individual to join our growing startup team as the Director of Digital Marketing. This role is pivotal in executing our digital marketing and sales strategy, which is essential for our growth and success in the competitive landscape. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in digital marketing, particularly in areas such as marketing automation, SEO, SEM, and social media advertising. In this position, you will be responsible for customizing and integrating Salesforce CRM to enhance our marketing efforts. Your expertise in marketing automation tools will be crucial in streamlining our processes and improving our outreach. You will also be expected to leverage your skills in SEO and SEM to drive traffic and improve our online presence. Familiarity with Google Adwords and Hootsuite will be necessary to manage our social media advertising effectively. Additionally, you will engage in guest blogging and press release creation to enhance our brand visibility and reputation. The role requires a strong foundation in design, as knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or general design principles will be beneficial in creating compelling marketing materials. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that our marketing strategies align with our overall business objectives. This position offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $75,000, commensurate with experience, along with a subsidized benefits package.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in digital marketing
  • 3-5 years hands-on experience with industry tools and analytics packages
  • Knowledge of email, web analytics, CRM, and marketing automation platforms (Act-on preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of businesses and technical resources
  • Exceptional interpersonal and sales skills
  • Proactive working style and extremely organized
